I have this motor on my 16′ flat-bottom in Louisiana bayous. Very quiet and easy to start, even in cold mornings. The price I paid was better than expected for this Yamaha model.
Using it on a 17′ pontoon boat near Lake Erie. Solid motor, but I wish the tiller handle was a bit longer for more comfort. Still, overall very pleased with performance.
Running this Yamaha on my 17′ jon boat in the Florida Keys. Reliable motor with solid torque. Lost one star due to a minor issue with the throttle cable, but customer service was helpful.
Using the F30LEHA on my 16′ aluminum skiff fishing in the lakes of northern Wisconsin. Starts instantly and runs smooth with low noise. Perfect power for my setup and great fuel economy.
