The Mercury 350XXXL Verado V10 is a high-performance four-stroke outboard motor, featuring the industry’s first naturally aspirated V10 powerhead, designed for large offshore boats, center consoles, multi-hulls, and heavy vessels. Introduced in 2022, this 350 HP motor with a 35-inch ultra-long shaft delivers exceptional power and efficiency with a 5.7L (348 cubic inch) displacement. It includes Digital Throttle & Shift (DTS) for smooth, instantaneous control, electric start, and power trim/tilt. The Advanced MidSection (AMS) and under-cowl noise management minimize vibration and noise, ensuring a quiet, refined experience at idle, cruise, and wide-open throttle. A 150-amp alternator, the highest in its class, powers electronics with four times the output of competitors at cruise. The hydrodynamic gearcase with a Revolution X™ propeller enhances efficiency at high speeds and provides confident low-speed handling. Using it on a 29′ walkaround out of Tampa Bay. The performance is top tier, but I had a minor software issue with the gauge interface early on. Mercury support was helpful and got it sorted quick. Motor itself runs perfect.
Running this on my 30′ pilothouse boat in San Diego. Throttle response is tight, steering is smooth with the digital controls, and fuel economy is better than I expected from a 350hp. Rock solid performance even in heavy chop.
Installed the 350 Verado V10 on my 28′ offshore center console based in Fort Lauderdale. The power is unbelievable — hole shot is instant and top-end speed jumped big time. It’s also quieter than my old twin setup. Absolute monster of a motor.
Upgraded from a 300 to the 350 Verado on my 26′ deep-V fishing boat in the Great Lakes. The difference is huge. Gets on plane faster and cruises smoother at lower RPMs. For the price, I got a lot more motor than I expected — great investment.
Mounted it on a 27′ catamaran in Charleston. The motor is strong and super refined, but the rigging was a bit more complicated than I thought. Still, once dialed in — it’s a beast. That V10 torque is no joke.
