Mounted it on my 22′ bay boat in Clearwater. The touchscreen is incredibly responsive and Mega Imaging+ is a game-changer in shallow water. For what I paid, this unit delivers massive value — worth every cent.
Using it on my 20′ fiberglass boat out of Lake Mead. Display is top-tier and the processing speed is fast, but the initial setup took longer than expected. Still, once dialed in — it’s a killer unit.
Using the APEX 16 on a 19′ Skeeter for tournament fishing in Texas. The clarity and range on side imaging is unmatched. I’m finding offshore structure I never saw with previous setups. Absolutely top-shelf tech from Humminbird.
Installed this on my 24′ center console near Charleston. It’s an excellent system overall, but I do wish there were a few more customization options in split-screen mode. That said, sonar performance is flawless.
