The Honda BF350AUCDA is a powerful four-stroke V8 outboard motor, marking Honda’s first production V8 for marine or land applications. Designed for large pontoon boats, center consoles, multi-hulls, and offshore vessels, this 350 HP motor with a 30-inch ultra-long shaft and counter-rotation configuration is optimized for multi-engine setups to enhance maneuverability and balance. Launched in April 2024, the BF350 features a 5.0-liter (305 cubic inch) engine with VTEC (Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control) for superior torque at low to mid-range speeds and peak performance above 4800 RPM. A 60-degree crank pin offset reduces vibration without a balancer, and individual fuel injection maps for each cylinder ensure optimal combustion and fuel efficiency via lean-burn control. Equipped with Intelligent Shift and Throttle (iST) for drive-by-wire control, electric start, and power trim/tilt, it offers seamless operation. A 93-amp alternator with AMP+ technology boosts output by 100 RPM at idle to power electronics. NMEA 2000 compliance enables integration with multifunction displays, and compatibility with Dometic Optimus 360 joystick controls supports multi-engine setups. Built with advanced corrosion protection, including multi-layered coatings and sacrificial anodes, it’s suited for harsh saltwater environments, delivering exceptional power, speed, and durability.

great motor but a bit heavy to handle alone. once running it’s a powerhouse that delivers steady power and control. definitely a high-end option for serious boaters
powerful motor with excellent acceleration takes some getting used to because of the size but once you do it performs amazingly well. the price was a bit high but worth it
