Great little motor for my 14′ jon boat. I use it in North Carolina on small rivers and creeks. Starts on the first pull and runs all day. Got it at a great price too — couldn’t be happier with the purchase.
Using the 20MH on my 14′ jon boat in the swamps outside Baton Rouge. Starts easy, runs smooth, and has plenty of low-end torque for shallow water. Perfect match for this type of setup.
I fish local lakes in Michigan with a small fiberglass boat, and this 20hp Mercury pushes it perfectly. Smooth acceleration, clean idle, and simple to maintain. Ideal for solo anglers or light rigs.
Using the 20MH in shallow backwater channels near Mobile, AL. The short shaft fits my boat like a glove. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the tiller grip — I wish it was slightly longer. Otherwise, it’s been excellent.
Installed this on my 13′ duck hunting boat in Arkansas. For a pull-start motor, it cranks up quick every time. Lightweight and tough. Honestly, for the price, I don’t think there’s a better 20hp out there.
